Year 5 & 6 camp writing

Last week we had year 5 & 6  camp at school. As you know I’m a year 5 so it was my first time at camp and it was really cool. We had to get put in our teams and I was in Tumeke to clean. It was a cool team and amazing because we had good dancers and lots of good smiles.The best activity was  kayaking because we had to swim and it was fun because was very hot and tired. We got to lie on the sand .Killer zone was also the best because we go to get wet and go to the pools and shower there. After that we had dinner. Our dinner was mince and nachos. it was so yummy that I ate it all and it was yum I was nearly gonna go for a second but I was so full . After that we went to watch a movie. It was called Captain Underpants it was so cool. After that we went straight to the marque and prayed and then we went to our tens and went to sleep.

Also I saw that Tamaki was holding my baby brother.

Also I want to go back to camp because it was fun and we did't have to go to school.

Dictation Race

Today was meant to be the picnic. Sadly, it was raining today which meant we couldn't go! Miss West had packed her hat, sunblock and towel. Hopefully we will get to go to the picnic later in  this term as it is nice to go swimming and enjoy the sun at our very own beach!

First Miss West said get into partners so I picked Jane. One of us had a chrome book and one of us did 'int I was the one who did'int have the chrome book and I had to tell Jane the words but Oalii and Norah-jade won.

Code

Human Not

Before we started writing we went outside and play this game called the human not. We had to hold people’s hands across from us and then we had to try undo it. After that we had to go back inside and write about it. Last year the year 5’s did it and it look like it was fun so we played it. last year Mr Somerville took some photos of them. While we were doing the human not Miss West and Miss Moala took some photos of us. After that I went home and I played with my brother and sister.

Bula, kia ora, welcome to my blog. My name is Maddison-Rose. I’m a year 5 at Pt England School. My teachers are Miss West and Mrs Moala.

I enjoy spending time with my friends and family and playing sports. I love playing sports and I love playing netball with my friends. Also, I love watching movies with my family. Also I have some amazing best friends. R-E-S-P-E-C-T

R-E-S-P-E-C-T is helping other that need help and it’s about helping our environment.

Respect respect means helping other also helping the environment. Helping the environment means when you walk past rubbish you pick it up and put it in the bin.

Disrespectful it means the same thing from respect but the other way around it’s like taking when the teachers talking and not putting your hand up. That’s called being disrespectful.

Next thing you have to do is listen to the teacher when the teacher is talking to you you look at them and when there done you walk away.  

Next thing you have to do is be kind if someone is alone what would you do just ignore it or play with them I would play with them and saw would you be my friend.
