Glider design

This is my glider that I designed because we are learning about forces of flight so room 10 is making a gliders.  

Matariki writing

Last friday it was matariki day and we got put into different groups and classes were separated into
different classes.
I was put into Movie making when I got into my group we got into small groups and one
of them were year 2 to 3 and year 4 to 5 boys and year 6 boys and my group was called the media group.
The people who was in my group was Luisa, Lashana, Ana, and Jahzara.
After that miss gave us a camera to me to take pictures and a camera to jahzara to do some interviews.
'After that we all went around the school and went to different classes.
We saw lots of creations and lots of food but over all of it it was fun but I want that day to be everyday.

After a while we came back and had our morning tea after morning tea we came back and we went to the classes that we did not interview and take photos but we didn't do all of the groups because Mrs lagitupu said that our movie had to be 3 of 2 minutes long. After we came back from around the school we started to edit it when we finished editing it we went to go have our lunch and after lunch the whole school went to the hall and sat in our groups and the people who made stuff had to walk on the stage and show their creations and the people who made movies showed their movies and the people who did cooking saved there cooking and and gave some to there teachers. After the whole assembly Mr Burt had all the year one to 3 go to there classes and Mr Burt let the rest of the people go because they were older and then they all went home.

Reading task for week 8

this is what my group had to do for there reading task so we had to disagree or agree for what it said and then we had to find a sentence that matches it.

Task description

This is our reading task for week 3 this book is called fueling extiction every page it had a country so we needed to find that country and write about it.

Miss West's and Mrs Moala's Experiment

Research  I found out that the lighter ball will fall down more quicker because the gravity pulls it down more faster and I found out that gravity pulls you down so you can’t float.

Hypothesis   if you drop the big ball then it will drop before the smaller ball because it weighs more than the smaller ball.

Procedure:    Also because miss let them go at the same time and both of them were bounce so when they put it in slow motion that it looked like the heavier ball fell first but it was both of them.

Conclusion:  First thing you need to do is Ask yourself a question then get two chairs then get two balls after that drop the balls at the same time and from the same height.

Results:  After Miss dropped them we found out that they fell on the ground at the same time.
